What the Hell Is a Lysosome?

Your stomach breaks down pizza and burgers into stuff your body can use. Lysosomes do the same thing, but at the cellular level.

- Pompe disease – muscle weakness from glycogen buildup
These are rare, but they prove how critical lysosomes are. Without functional digestive machinery, cells choke on their own waste.
How to Actually Remember This
